Y mwyaf yn y cyfnod hwn oedd y Snow\/Brig\u00a0 &#8221; Gomer &#8220;.<\/p>\n<p>Pan ddaeth Porthmadog i fodolaeth yn 1825 cafodd longau eu hadeiladu yma ac yn Borth y Gest mewn nifer o iardiau llongau. Y llong olaf i gael ei hadeiladu oedd y &#8221; Gestiana &#8221; yn 1913.<\/p>\n<p>Ar \u00f4l cael ei lansio cafodd y llong ei dodrefnu gyda mastiau , rigin , hwyliau a&#8217;r holl offer.\u00a0 Roedd Porthmadog bron yn hollol hunangynhaliol.
